Got the paperwork through for the house yesterday, 1 step closer to buying back part of the family property my grandad got rid off 16 years ago! then we can knock it back into one!

Also think my turbo might turn up today! booooost! Lol Smile and hopefully my inlet manifold! just need the cambelt kit and get that changed then the conversion can begin!

Afternoon Jim & fellow UKCC'ers....

The weather is a complete wash out!!

Just ordered front wheel bearing for the left wheel and a new set of Brembo brake pads for the zeddy last night hopefully should come this week. Looking at wind deflectors next maybe but really want to get round to getting a remap sorted for the little 1.4 beast and get it kicking 130bhp which will be pretty good for a N/A 1.4 engine

How is everyone?

130 from a 1.4? you'll only gain maybe 10-15% on a map, will was only getting 130 when his was mapped pre engine change. You want Cams, polished & ported head etc for that power, but with more power = more HeadGasket issues.

Already got Highlift cams, vvc inlet mani & 52mm throttle bodie, manifold De-cat and with along full exhaust with bk box and 1.8 fuel injectors, Full Serviced with Iridium spark plugs so a massive improvement from standard now

My 1.4 was only 103bhp standard but to get it to 130 is a massive improvement and Gasket is totally fine now with the uprated MLS gasket fitted.

Mike from MLS Autos mentions how quick my 1.4 is now on his facebook and i let him take it for a spin and come back with a huge grin on his face Very Happy Not as quick as a ZR160 but give it a run for its money lol

Once remap is sorted, i will be looking at port & polishing the head and that will do it for me, Cheap and cheerfull it is for me Very Happy
